At the heart of Goodwood Bowling Club are our professionally maintained bowling greens, offering a top-class surface for both competitive and social play.
We proudly maintain two full-sized natural grass greens, cared for year-round to ensure consistent speed, true lines, and a quality experience for bowlers of all skill levels. Whether you’re rolling up for a casual game or representing the club in Western Province league play, you’ll find our greens both reliable and rewarding.
The Clubhouse
We warmly welcome families and bowlers of all ages. Our child‑friendly environment ensures junior members feel included, with supervised matches, youth programmes, and activities designed to integrate all generations in a safe, supportive setting.
The Hall
Host events with confidence—our spacious Function Hall is ideal for gatherings of up to 90 guests, perfect for birthday parties, team events, presentations, or community meetups. The venue includes its own bar and serving kitchen, providing hassle‑free catering logistics and a warm club environment.
The Braai
Under shade and open-air seating, our Indoor Braai & Lapa area offers a traditional South African braai experience for groups of up to 80–90 people. Multiple braai stations, grilling equipment, and a relaxed vibe make it ideal for social functions, family days, fundraisers, or casual get-togethers.
The Bar
Enjoy friendly and convivial club atmosphere in our fully stocked bar, serving members and guests a selection of beer, wine, non‑alcoholic drinks, and light snacks. Equipped with DSTV sports channels and large screens, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a game.
